In my current trip to Italy, I have been meeting several major investors who wish to acquire properties in the United States and who are already dealing with real estate properties in Europe or France. A common denominator I got from all of them is to know what are the exact steps needed in order to acquire a property overseas. They were of course also concerned about the profit potential and how good the deal could be, but they wanted in the end know how easy it was to close on it, what papers had to be signed, in which sequence and what each one meant.

This is kind of given for granted in most real estate transactions in the US so I realized that the added value I can immediately bring to them is to delineate these steps and in translating the key meaning of each contract. It is a very simple and basic thing, but I assure you it is the most demanded item in the discussion of any investment opportunity.

So go get it and present it, every time you wish to sell something to a foreign buyer, being it real estate or anything else.

P.S. In the video I am showing the steps of the Garibaldi underground station in Milano. Garibaldi was the hero who unified Italy in the 1800 century.
